Consider this cartoon my official welcome to Cambridge’s new City Manager, Richard Rossi! Annually speaking, Rossi will make more than double Governor Deval Patrick’s ($140,535), almost double Boston Mayor Thomas Menino’s ($169,750) and just under President Barack Obama’s ($400,000) salaries. To be fair though, Rossi also voluntarily agreed to give up $615,000 in accrued sick leave and compensatory time from his current position as Cambridge Deputy City Manager.
