Corey Rodrigues isn’t wasting any time. A Milton native, Rodrigues has already gathered a small treasure trove of East Coast comedy competition victories. As a comedian, actor, and podcaster, Rodrigues has come a long way from his younger days as the “class clown” freestyle rapper.
So. How about kids these days?
I had some of the old school stuff, CD players and tape players and all that shit … I’m happy there wasn’t Instagram and cell phones back then,
because I can only imagine being a little kid being able to send a picture of balls across the thing, you know?
Why else does Snapchat exist?
What else am I gonna Snapchat? Kids are getting better at being like, “I don’t want to have to see you or touch you or smell your breath, but I would love to see you through this video or these pictures.” It’s making a lot of kids weaker …
They need some diseases. They need to be able fight some diseases.
In your promo video, you get a pedicure. How great was it?
The point of that video was about the people who act like they’re thuggy and tough who do un-thuggish things. They’re like, “I’m gonna shoot ya in the face!” and then get their toes done.
You’re like, “You need to relax.” But I do get them myself. I don’t think anyone should be running around with gross-ass feet. I don’t like guys who think it’s not OK. They’re like, “I’m a man!”
Well, you’re not a fucking caveman! Do something to your feet!
