BLOODFEAST: BRAINS ON THE DANCE FLOOR

Come witness the untold terrors of dancing editors!

Eviscerated corpses, entrails hanging from all visible surfaces, pools of blood up to our ankles–just another afternoon at DigBoston headquarters. But the horror doesn’t stop when we punch the clock; this weekend you’ll find us killing the dance floor with the New England Society of Professional Journalists at their 10th Annual Bloodfeast Halloween Party.

Come witness the untold terrors of dancing editors! Recoil in fear of drunk and horny reporters! Eat the intestines of unwitting interns!

More seriously, Bloodfeast is rooted in supporting aspiring journalists–not eating them (young reporters are a bit gamey anyway). The bash is a benefit to fund journalism scholarships, and if bloodletting really is your thing–we see you blushing–Bloodfeast is also aimed to increase public awareness about Red Cross blood drives.

Despite its evil nomenclature, the legendary Bloodfeast is the best black-and-orange season gala going for some seriously sweet causes. With a line-up of scary good DJs–Volvox, Nemesis, Die Young–plus a cash prize for best costume, you can rest assured that few will rest in peace.

Pieces, perhaps, but not by our hand–we’re leaving the bludgeoning devices home for a change.
