I’m a simple beer drinker. While there is a place for rooftop gardens and a candlelit gastropub, give me a parking lot and a beer in a glass with a handle, and I’m set for the afternoon.
This Saturday Olde Magoun’s Paulaner Biergarten/Oktoberfest provides the place to do just that, when they commandeer the CVS parking lot, bring in a Paulaner truck, and transform it into an urban biergarten.
The lengthy Paulaner draft list includes Oktoberfest Marzen, Weiss, Lager, Pilsner, Hefe, and Salvatore Doppel Bock—all easy drinking beers ideal for extended daytime consumption. Pair it with traditional grilled Oktoberfest fare and music all day and you’ve got the best afternoon you’ll ever spend in a parking lot.
(Full disclosure: DigBoston is sponsoring this event and will be drinking pints of Paulaner there all day long. Come say hi! Also sponsored by Drink Craft Beer. Say hi to them too.)
