Apparently there’s an area in Boston called The Leather District, which is like, tiny. Well, if you haven’t heard of it, you’ve probably been there, and you should probably go on Friday. No, not to wear leather, but to wear hula skirts and coconut bras. The Corner Pub, which is snuggled in somewhere between South Station and Chinatown (Getting a better picture of where the Leather District is?), is hosting a tropical party this Friday, January 11th.
You know those elaborate cocktails you see on Pinterest that you always think you’ll make but end up just cracking a beer instead? This is the event to hit up if you really want to sample a fresh and complex cocktail (especially of the pineapple sort). Booze Époque is run by pair of ladies who are sure to wow you with their sensational mixology. They’re a “boutique bartending service,” which shows up at your private function and makes drunken animals out of you and all of your guests. But Booze Époque isn’t a bar, or a store, or a readily accessible creation at your mini bar at home. The only chance you’ll get to try their famous creations might be at the Corner Pub this Friday. Not a bad way to start the weekend!
