While it’s unfair to say the Irish drink more than other peoples, it is fair to say that they talk about it more; and better, at that. When it comes to telling stories about the things you’ve (or a supernatural creature that just happens to look and sound like you) done that you’ve wish you (it was the goblin who broke the window, we swear!) haven’t, the Irish know no equal. MassMouth celebrates these tall tales of regret with a special St. Patrick’s Day-themed Adult Folktale Slam, where each participant has seven minutes to tell an R-rated Celtic legend or fairy tale, the more mythic mischief, the better.
