After a successful event last June, the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival will return to Boston this May for a four nights beginning May 1st at The Sinclair and Berklee Performance Center. This year “Bob’s Burgers” comedian brings with him co-star Kristen Schaal, as well as John Hodgman, UK comedian Daniel Kitson, Chelsea Peretti, Wyatt Cenac, Nick Thune, Ken Reid, Mehran Khaghani, and everone’s favorite mad scientist Bill Nye will host.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 7 at noon. Check back as more comedians and guest hosts are added to the roster.

In the mean time, check out this Dig interview ahead of last years festival by David Brusie:

“Standup comedian and Lexington native Eugene Mirman knows exactly why this area is such a breeding ground for comedy. Without hesitation, he says, ‘It’s the combination of being smart and angry, this great combination of tough but very bright. Everyone is sort of the Matt Damon character from Good Will Hunting.’”
