come out and play
What you don’t need to know about this cherished cult classic and uncontested opus of the “gangs with gimmicks” genre is that it’s a surprisingly faithful adaptation of Xenophon’s classic Anabasis, a Greek mercenary’s historic account of his detachment’s march back home through thousands of miles of enemy territory after a failed campaign in Mesopotamia. What you do need to know is that dudes in vests just straight-up wail on two different kinds of mimes for an hour and a half. And it rules.
