BOOB TUBE: WEEK OF DECEMBER 11TH

amazing3

Sunday.

Amazing Race (CBS)  — Finale time! The teams all head for Atlanta, Georgia to try and win the race tonight. I am going to go with my fave couple, Marcus and Amani, for the win.

Premieres: Luck (HBO) and Bag of Bones (AE)

DVR Alert: Once Upon a Time (ABC), Cupcake Wars and Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs (Food), Dexter and Homeland (SHO).

Monday.

Fear Factor (NBC) makes its triumphant? return to TV with Joe Rogan hosting. This is one of those shows that I shouldn’t like and shouldn’t watch, but I will inevitably watch every episode and even repeats.

Finale: Enlightened (HBO) first season finale is on and I am kind of sad that it’s ending. This show was so perfect in so many ways. I fully expect Laura Dern to be up for awards come Golden Globe time.

DVR Alert: 2 Broke Girls (CBS).

Tuesday.

Let’s pretend I didn’t post that I am watching Glee (Fox), OK? This week the glee club members face a difficult decision when they are asked to perform in two different places at the same time in this season’s Christmas episode.

DVR Alert: New Girl (Fox), Chopped (Food).

Wednesday.

American Horror Story (FX) — Spolier Alert here! I nearly shit myself when I found out that Violet was dead and has been for weeks. Vivien gives birth this week while Tate and Violet try to rid the house of some of its ghosts.

DVR Alert: Survivor (NBC), Top Chef: Texas (Bravo), Barbara Walters Presents the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011 (ABC).

Thursday.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX) — The gang hatches a plan to repair their tarnished image in the eyes of their old high school classmates in the season finale.

No DVR Alerts!

Friday.

Grimm (NBC)  — A homicide leads Nick and Hank to reopen a cold missing persons case; Nick asks Monroe to help a creature remember her humanity. I still like the show even though I just found out that Nick, played by Dave Giuntoli, was on Road Rules.

If you missed the premiere of Stephen King’s Bag of Bone’s (AE) and didn’t DVR it, you can watch it tonight when it repeats beginning at 8pm.

DVR Alert: The Life and Times of Tim (HBO)

Saturday.

Saturday Night Live (NBC) — Host Jimmy Fallon and musical guest Michael Buble. I really hope Jon Hamm makes a guest appearance so we can get a new “Hamm & Buble.”
