So, now that our absurd/obscene/we don’t know if you can show this to your parents NYE issue has dropped, we can finally announce that we’re presenting the best damn bill in the city that’ll ring in 2012. On New Year’s Eve at the Brighton Music Hall, we’re gonna get wild with a kick ass combination of rock, roots and digidance pahteetimez provided by Kingsley Flood (the Dig’s unofficial house band), Mean Creek (#creeksnatched) and Freeze Pop (“electroroyalty” as J. Pat once dubbed ‘em). Bodega Girls will be spinning in between sets, and as you can see from the cover of this week’s DigBoston, Evan may make a tallboy or two explode all over your face. (Oh, now’s a good time to mention that there’ll be free beer from our buds at Narragansett and a tall boy toast at midnight!) We’re giving tickets away via the Daily Dig, so subscribe, keep your eyes peeled and hopefully you’ll be dancing your face off at midnight with us.
