We’ve talked more than our fair word-bubble’s share about super heroism these past weeks, what with all the “Cons” and free comics and dueling Avengers reviews going down. Still, we can’t help but think that this electropop duo from Austin—who, at one time, were committed to maintaining anonymity, secret identity-style—sound like one of those semi-inclusive, mostly-racist heroes from comics’ Golden Age. In terms of their name, we mean. Their actual music is more akin to dreamy synths and breathy vocals and not, say, a Cherokee chief with gamma powers.
They’re both rad, is the point.
