A concept album that’s not a concept album is just the sort of thing you’d expect from an indie ghostfolk artist like Faces on Film. His latest, Some Weather, is based on a recurring dream of musician Mike Fiore’s, with each track loosely themed around the stages of a pioneering somnambular trek. So yeah—sick. When Fiore hits up Great Scott tonight with Marissa Nadler, keep in mind all the great things set in dreams. Kubla Khan, some killer Sopranos episodes and this thing you’re reading right now in your dreamy-sleep mind-space. Ahem.
