Be fair, this British quartet has an interesting nomenclatural gimmick, as far as “interesting band factoids unilaterally disseminated in lazy music write-ups” go. To wit: that keyboard combo up yonder produces the delta symbol on a Mac, a symbol commonly associated with change and, less commonly, with the friggin’ Illuminati—usually by friggin’ crazy-ass conspiracy theorists. We’re fairly certain any Freemason-types wouldn’t be into spare, hook-filled, piano-driven indie pop. ‘Cause if they are, well, that’s pretty much it, huh? Get back on the bus, Templars fans.
