In the same way that it took the Italian Sergio Leone to perfect the “American” Western, so too has this Swedish duo taken a heartland style of folksy bluegrass and made it their own—sans dubbing, for those keeping score at home. Tonight, sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg get all dire and autumnal, with the both of them having been scorned by the same villainous rapscallion … somehow. We won’t ask. People who ask questions tend to disappear. These Scandinavians know their crime fiction, and Clint Eastwood can’t defend us now.
