#DIGSTPATS: WOLF’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY MARDI GRAS BALL @ T.T.’S

fat whatever

In my completely biased opinion as a New Orleanian, the best kind of St. Patrick’s Day is Mardi Gras. For two decades, Shaun Wolf Wortis and his Legendary Vudu Krewe have carved out a sanctuary for good old-fashioned Southern decadence here, at the seat of Northern Puritanical repression. And though Sandy may have put a damper on this year’s festivities, you can’t keep a good bacchanalia down—the beads and booze have been rescheduled for St. Patrick’s, so get ready to double down on the amount of felonies you can compete in one evening. Two of the greatest drinking holidays, brought together at last. No liver is safe.
