If electronic music was a sitcom, Gold Panda would be the quirky character—he’d be George. He’s odd but endearing. With song titles like “Snow & Taxies” and “My Father in Hong Kong 1961,” he paints soundscapes with both his beats and his words.
There’s something warm and comforting about a Gold Panda jam, much like getting into a toasty car (which happens to have your favorite song playing) in the winter.
Gold Panda dropped some freshies in June with Half of Where You Live, so he’ll have oodles of new material to draw on and get weird. Blip by blip. Bleep by bleep.
