DIG THIS: FIRST NIGHT BOSTON 2014

Boston-Fireworks

It’s just not New Year’s Eve without First Night! And this year’s going to be bigger than ever–and also Mayor Menino‘s last project ever as our mayor.

There’ll be special performances by A.R.T., ice sculptures at various locations throughout the city (including the Common and Copley Square), a poetry slam at Hynes Convention Center, and literally so much more!

And need we mention the fireworks? There will be plenty of the smuggled ones that people get from New Hampshire, but the real deal happens at midnight on New Year’s Eve above the Boston Harbor. There’s really no terrible view; if you’re in Boston (or even an immediate surrounding area), when the clock strikes 12, you need only to look up.

[Tue 12.31.13. 1pm on/all ages/prices vary. @firstnightfirstnightboston.org]
