CreateSpace Collab, the Boston crew behind favorite monthly Good Life party Sweet Shop, is branching out with new event series A/S/L?. For their inaugural event, the team has recruited Harvard Bass (yes, as in that Harvard) to set the tone with his brand of club-ready house, techno, and electro. The former Crimsonite cut his techno teeth as a yougin’ in Tijuana idolizing Mark Farina, and has since cultivated quite the roster of supporters and collaborators including Green Velvet, Drop the Lime, Tiga, and Teki Latex (bonus prize: Teki Latex also stops at Sweet Shop next Saturday). His mastery of house rhythms and minimal techno beats will surely set off A/S/L? on a positive note.
Warming the floor for Mr. Bass will be resident house guru Matt McNeill and guest Keith Mattar of Sonic Beating, whose dark techno has enlivened many a DIY club, campout, and loft party. But enough stalking their Soundclouds — check out these three IRL at A/S/L? at Good Life this Friday.
