POLLING PLACE: BELLFLOWER APARTMENTS – 24 BELLFLOWER STREET
WARD, PRECINCT: 7, 8 & 9
VOTES CAST: Precinct 8: 57 / Precinct 9: 40
SIGNAGE WINNER: Walsh, as expected, plus a small salad of signs–one or two apiece–featuring Connolly, Golar Richie, and Consalvo placards.
WHAT WE SAW: A whole lot of campaign workers and volunteers who haven’t slept in days. Like really–they haven’t been to sleep, or so they say and it seems.
WHAT WE DIDN’T SEE: Barros or Golar Richie supporters.
WTF?: Big shout out to the fabulous and futuristic (though old-timey in a way too) campaign-mobile motoring for Michael Flaherty and Annissa Essaibi George, both candidates for city councilor-at-large. Also: the Marty Walsh caffeine bus, passing out coffee to vols.
