POLL GLANCING: SOUTH END: CATHEDRAL HIGH SCHOOL

CATHEDRAL

POLLING PLACE: CATHEDRAL HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASIUM – 1336 WASHINGTON STREET

WARD, PRECINCT: 8,1
NEIGHBORHOOD: South End
TIME: 8:56am
VOTES CAST: 53

SIGNAGE WINNER: Hard to tell, but the Mike Ross signs really stand out (pun intended).

WHAT WE SAW: A whole lot of people campaigning outside, and aggressively. Just walking down the street we had five different flyers shoved in our face. Inside: lots of diversity in terms of age, with old folks and a few younger parents alike. Also: about four or five people with various petitions at the exit (corporations are not people, raise the minimum wage, etc.).
WHAT WE DIDN’T SEE: Young voters, sign holders.
WTF?: Everybody getting along; rival camps chatting one another up, diligently hanging out.
