POLL GLANCING: SOUTH END: TENT CITY COMMUNITY ROOM

tent

POLLING PLACE: TENT CITY COMMUNITY ROOM – 130 DARTMOUTH STREET

WARD, PRECINCT: 4, 2
NEIGHBORHOOD: South End
TIME: 2:41pm
TOTAL VOTES CAST: 587
SIGNAGE WINNER: Suzanne Lee for the win again – this time for having so many of those awesome signs with the Lee jeans font. We’re hoping that’s intentional. Otherwise, lots of signs for her opponent, Bill Linehan, and for at-large council candidate Michelle Wu.
WHAT WE SAW: Prominent local blogger and Twitter horse Dart Adams, who told us that his family has never been so split over a mayoral race. One woman campaigning for Linehan; two guys volunteering for Lee.
WHAT WE DIDN’T SEE: Many Connolly signs. We spied but one in a sea of placards for his opponent and a number of candidates for City Council.

WTF?: There’s an almost perfectly kaleidoscopic mix of signs here, almost as if an artist laid it out.
