One of the truest things said about the scene around this coming Boston Marathon is that not much has changed since last year in the Boylston Street area. At least not on the surface. Under the circumstances, that’s a good indication that the city is recuperating from the bombing and its aftermath. Still, even with that stability, there have been several welcome signs over the past week that the race is coming–most subtle, others not so much. Here’s what we noticed …

This year’s official slogan: “We Run Together.” Banners all over the place, including on Boylston. This particular one is hanging in front of Berklee’s Cafe 939 …
