DIG THIS! MODERN THEATRE OPENS

return to pre-post-modern

Not content to let those self-important prance-bags over at Emerson hog all those “revitalization of Boston’s landmark Theater District” shenanigans, today, Suffolk University officially kicks open those wrought-iron doors to the ironically historic Modern Theatre. The Hub’s first arena designed exclusively for the showing of “high-class photo plays,” as its painstakingly restored facade once barked (that’d be movies, pleb), the Moe’s return brings an old new performance space to the area, and proves that just because you’ve got a law school doesn’t mean you’re not into that art crap.
