MAFE!: SOUTH BOSTON OPEN STUDIOS 11/5 – 11/6

There are as many open studio events as there are neighborhoods. At one time, the Fort Point Channel ruled the roost, but now South Boston owns the title of the leading cutting-edge concentration of cool cats. We’re talking about the Distillery, home to folks like Scott Chasse and Kenji Nakayama. King Terminal, just around the corner, is no slouch either. And forget white wine, these guys are gonna have Gansetts.[The Distillery Gallery. 516 East 2nd St., and King Terminal. 570 E 1st St., South Boston. noon/all ages/free. @ distilleryarts. southbostonopenstudios.org]
