Scrabble-champions strippers, death-scented track-suits, and garbage dumps of destiny—shit is going down in the outskirts of British Columbia, and it’s up to a kleptomaniac depressive in a stolen police uniform to make any sense of it. Acclaimed Canadian playwright Claudia Dey’s surrealistic tale of “Yukon Gothic,” Trout Stanley, comes to The Factory Theatre courtesy of the dramedic talents of the Exquisite Corps troupe. Loved Twin Peaks, but thought that it could use a couple more co-dependent love triangles? Well, Claudia Dey certainly did, and she’s done her best to leave you with the lasting impression that everybody above the 49th parallel is insane.
