Sure, it was odd when we first saw that the Pregnant Spore show at Starlab was slotted in the perennially dependable, supra-reliable and generally not-incorrect Dig Calendar Google doc as “Pregnant Sportes.” After all, that sounds like a Mexican soccer match between third trimester mothers, and that’s … crazy. Then we remembered that musical mycologist Justin Marc Lloyd‘s droning, glitchy, thoroughly experimental projects are pretty much all about dat crazy. And those mommy-hormones really bulk up the scissor-kick muscles.
