Last night, our friends-from-the-future Tom and Gary brought their Decentralized Dance Party (DDP) to our humble corner of the Universe, a few dozen boom boxes and a couple hundred businesspersons in tow. From its start at Long Wharf, the DDP wound its way around Quincy Market to Government Center and over to the Common, gathering a few scowls from dour passersby but mostly grins and honks from curious onlookers and fellow revelers. In a word: awesome.
Like all good things in Boston, this got broken up far too early — Boston’s finest ushered us off to bed at an overly-sensible 11 o’clock on the dot. Here’s hoping Tom, Gary and the Elite Banana Task Force stop by again after their adventures in the “Stans” for a Boston redux.
