NEPTUNE / M2 @ ARTS AT THE ARMORY

So … an performative installation at Arts at the Armory by some folks from the self-built instrument collective Neptune. Start with that. “Drip” is a bucket, with a spigot, dripping and making music via a “multi-transducer” rig. Boom. Give it up for Neptune, y’all. Then the At Land’s Edge album release with—and bear in mind this is following the bucket—M2 improvising a set on modded piano and multiphonic guitar. You guessed it: this is a Roger Miller joint. Didn’t tell ya ’bout the “sublimated bravura technique” yet. Keep on doing whatever sweet shit you’re doing, Rog.
