Ugh, we know: MADtv had an “It’s the Big-Ass Pumpkin, Chuckie Brown” sketch. Ripe-target parodies of the Peanuts gang are fairly common, and it’s only that rare take on the classic which manages, well, humor. Rarer still are those with teen casts, and that support LGBTQ organizations like The Trevor Project. Enter Boston Teen Acting Troupe with Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenaged Blockhead at the Cambridge YMCA. Just imagine that famous Lucy football gag. Only the football is a bong. And Lucy’s in jail. Imagine something totally different, is what we’re saying.
