Our pals at Glovebox are working together with Kitaeff & Associates P.C. (a boutique law firm in North Andover) to help get artists work up on the office walls for their client’s viewing and buying pleasure. Works will be displayed throughout the office space, listed for sale, and a binder with artist bios and details about the specific pieces on display will be kept at the reception desk to allow anyone interested in buying work to get more information and contact Glovebox to purchase pieces.
Kitaeff & Associates wants to showcase GLVBX artists and support the organization. The firm is asking that in lieu of receiving a percentage of sale proceeds itself, the artist donate 25% of any sale back to the organization towards future art programs and events.
All art will be installed in offices August-September and will remain on view for 6 months to a year (whichever you prefer), unless sold. Drop off for work will be at 15 Channel Center Street, Studio #219, Boston on Saturday, August 25 from 12-4 pm, Saturday, September 1 from 12-4pm, or Sunday, September 2 from 12-4 pm. They’re accepting submissions on a rolling basis, so let them know (email@example.com) if you are interested and, if you are not able to participate now, we can arrange for your work to be exhibited at a later date (as pieces are sold and space frees up for more work). Please send images of your work(s) with medium and dimensions to firstname.lastname@example.org, and be sure to make the subject heading LASTNAME_ARTLENDING.
Everything must be available for purchase and ready to hang upon drop-off. Drop-off time and date will be determined by Glovebox. Glovebox has the right to not accept work if the firm is already at hanging capacity or if the firm rejects the artwork due to subject matter, but they will accept work on a rolling basis. Two-dimensional works only. A 25% donation from each sale will go to Glovebox, a 501 c3 non-profit arts organization.
