Is there a word stronger than “success”? Oh yeah, perfect. This night was honestly perfect.

It’s a rare occasion when I have to take a step back and sigh at the House of Blues. When the venue’s sold out and packed from floor to ceiling for an artist who deserves it – an electronic musician, no less. And when instead of being sweaty and dancing (though I love doing that and the after party surely fulfilled our thirst for it), I look around and see people in awe. Everyone around me is fastened in place, eyes glued on Amon Tobin’s magnificent ISAM 2.0 audio-visual narrative. Watching it like a movie.
“You have to see it to believe it,” has never been more true.
I’d like to give a sincere thank you to Amon Tobin for coming to Boston, meeting my expectations to the point that I have to call the night “perfect,” and partying with the Boston crew until 4am afterwards. But most of all, for teaching us the ways of the Shmobin.
And another special thanks to Nickdawg for capturing the brilliance like no one else could. Hence,
