Sour pusses everywhere slinked away from Somerville Sunday afternoon when the pristine pooches at Somerville Dog Festival took over Trum Park. People from far and wide say they could smell the poop wafting from the fest, which reminded each wiffer of that special pooch in our lives.
But unmatched was the skill, the passion, the butt-sniffing and the drooling, the frisbees that cycled like fur-powered boomerangs all day long.
Sunday’s dogs took all preceding dog fests and said, “Here’s my butt. Sniff it.”
Free nail clippings? Talent contests? Ridiculous(ly cute) canine costumes? Limitless doggie treats? This truly was an afternoon dedicated to all things dog. And you all know how much we at DogBoston LOVE dogs.
