beauty and the bees ahh not the beeeessss
This adaptation from Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon takes what we’re calling (for like, the first time ever probably) a “tale as old as time” and transforms it into a whole different bipedal animal with body-image issues. This take on the by-definition classic blends real and virtual imagery in a multimedia performance that’s as magical (figuratively) as it is visually stunning (literally; bring some smelling salts). Yes, go ahead and feel free to forget Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Except for that one song. *sigh*
No one, Gaston. No one.
