The opening of Election Day at The Factory Theatre tonight has some competition in the “political comedy” department. That competition? Actual politics.
We wouldn’t be surprised if Newt and Mittens match every zing and/or zang in Happy Medium Theatre’s wacky mayoral race with even bigger Republican mega-gaffes
just because they can. Thought that one scene was funny? Gingrich just said he “distrusts kale.” Chuckled at the ending? Romney keeps dropping pieces of Nazi-gold on the campaign trail. We think the play can come out on top, if only—shit. Now they’re arguing about who has better “homo-doppler.”
