AFTER HEARING NOAM CHOMSKY SPEAK AT OCCUPY BOSTON, SATURDAY 10.22.11
Lemmy looks tough.
He is. I’ve actually trained him to sniff for the 1%. I’m trying to talk to him about the non-violent protest thing but he’s having a hard time with it.
That hardcore anarchist element that the police were warning about? That’s him.
Hahaha.
There was a Molotov cocktail in that harness and I had to pull it out. I was like: “Look, you don’t even have thumbs.”
What does Noam Chomsky speaking here mean?
He’s one of the people who can best articulate what this movement is about.
He’s been a force for telling the truth for a long time.
How has the Great Recession effected you?
My parents are barely able to live off their means, my brother was out of work for a long time. I just got out of debt … but I will need to go back into it to go back to school.
Is Lemmy a Chomsky fan?
He’s basically with Chomsky. Again, he’s not as big on the non-violence, but I’m working with him on it.
