We thought The Great Esplanade July 4th Evacuation of 2012 (#neverforget) was a pretty big annoyance for Boston last night. And it was. But at least the city’s pyro-technicians managed to last a good eight minutes or so, and we all got wet.
But the Big Bay Boom in San Diego, after boasting one of the largest Fourth of July fireworks shows in the US and declaring that the show would be “bigger and more intense than in past years,” just couldn’t hold it in. They blew their entire load in 15 seconds, a gigantic disappointment for the hundreds of thousands of spectators who had waited for hours for some fiery satisfaction.
“Oh my God, was that supposed to happen?”
Says the guy in this Youtube Video. The answer is no, and this just goes to show that just because she’s loud, doesn’t mean you satisfied her.
