Where are you guys from? Why are you in Boston?
Marco: I was born in Luxemborg, raised in France. I came to Boston for my studies.

And then you moved here? To go to MIT or something?
Marco: No I moved here to go to Northeastern or something.

Random person: “Northeastern!” [Whoops and cheers]

Francis: Huskies!

Someone: How bad does BU suck?
Francis: Sucks to BU!

I know I make that joke all the time. Are you guys big Max Cooper fans?
Marco: Well I like Max Cooper but I would’ve rather seen Angoria instead. But I live in Cambridge so I was close by and I wasn’t like in the mood to go downtown.

Someone: Who’s Angoria?
Marco: He’s a French DJ. He’s also deep house.

Where’s he at?
Marco: At Julep downtown.

Someone: Why are French DJs so good? What’s so good about French DJs?
Someone else: That’s a really good questions. Because I think they suck.
Marco: You think they suck?? Have you ever been to Rex Club? [continues speech to kid who said French DJs suck] In America everything’s so flat. In France…

Do you like Max Cooper?
Cyril: I really liked it, but his set was not really harmonious. It’s not as deep as his record. …  [points to JASS sticker on the back of my phone] Do you work for JASS?

No those guys are friends of mine.
Cyril: Yeah I did an afterparty with the JASS people. It was that Oneohtrix Point Never and Teebs party.

Francis:  I’ve traveled. I live in Brooklyn.

Do you like Brooklyn or Boston better?
Francis: It’s really close.

Francis:

Everyone’s too cool there to dance, you know? There’s a lot of dancing at night. You know Glasslands?

Yeah! That’s where I went, too! That place is the best!
Marco: THAT’S WHERE I LIVE, too!!!
Francis: That’s a really good place!

I actually tweeted a picture of this and was like why don’t we have this shit in Boston?
Marco: Yeah dude, that’s a good call. Where would you put it? What’s the equivalent of that here?
Cyril: Yeah the area, like, in the middle of nowhere. And how would you get people there? There’s nothing equivalent here. Like sort of Middlesex on a weekday maybe.
