IN THE TUBES: LOOK AT THIS DOG WALKING A SMALLER DOG

Do you see it? A large dog walking a smaller dog on a leash. It’s the puppy’s first adventure into the big, scary, beautiful world. One day the puppy will fall in love, have its little fuzzy heart broken, and be hurt and betrayed. It might grow up to be like the monster dog from The Sandlot, with an appetite for New York Yankees memorabilia and an owner eerily resembling James Earl Jones (we can only hope).

But for this one moment the little pup is happy, prancing around with wide-eyed wonder and feeling like the world is its Milkbone as its older companion guides the tyke through the neighborhood, which is probably a metaphor for growing-up or parenthood or something.

Point is, look at this goddamn dog walking a smaller dog and feel your cold Bostonian heart melt.
