Superbowl Sunday is nearly upon us! For those of us for whom the yearly gridiron spectacle is itself meaningless, there have always been numerous distractions. Whether your idea of entertainment is expensive new commercials, puppies, lingerie, puppies in lingerie, or watered-down American beer, you can bet there will be a game-related niche ready for you in television land.

If you’d prefer, however, to spend your Sunday night so far removed from the big game that your soundtrack is rooted in a place where the word “football” doesn’t even mean “football”, then we’ve got the option for you!
