Dinosaurs, cross-dressing, facepaint, full-frontal male nudity, neon clothing, glitches, and a lot of really deep bass. What I’m saying is, some guys really know how to put on a show, and Zebbler Encanti Experience (of Vermin Street) are two such guys. Take, for example, the following short, which I can only describe as being like if Aphex Twin got really hooked on that Pornosaurus video (NSFW – so NSFW that I don’t think it can be captured in an acronym):

FYI, that last video is like, waaaaaay less unsettling than their usual stuff, both in the audio and the visual depts. Way less. Normally you get like, booming bass, experimental, glitchy drum patterns, scrolling static-y footage of someone wearing fangs in the dark, and some seriously intense synths (see their soundcloud below). Which is awesome. That said, they’re capable of anything, like last year when they put on a 5-act retelling of Hansel & Gretel.

The story is, Zebbler and Encanti are Boston’s own experimental steppy/psychedelic audio/visual avant garde (Zebbler even has a proprietary piece of visual software called Zebblertron. Which is totally awesome). Normally they hang out in Boston, rocking faces year-round, but right now they’re gearing up for their first giant tour with EOTO, and they need support – namely, they need donations for equipment. Almost $6000 worth.
How are they planning to make that kind of money? By rocking faces, of course. The free ZEE fundraiser/farewell show takes place at The Tavern at the End of the World, complete with bass, drums, synths, crazy visuals, probably some people in costumes, and hey! A raffle!
