You know, we kind of figured that “punk” already sort of implied “hardcore,” what with all the anarchism and shouting and sweat that seems to come with the punk-territory. Turns out you can combine the two and get something even more batshit-intense than normal. The Disappeared, courtesy of RTT Presents, will be giving a lecture (read: playing a kickass show) on this “hardcore punk” at Great Scott tonight (along with The New Warden and Great Lakes). Best bring a helmet lest you get sound-punched in the brain. Yeah, that’s right. The brain.
