It’s sort of strange how All Hallow’s Eve, which was once a reasonably small and unimportant celebration, has evolved into this massive month-long event with a firm standing in the “Big Three” of Western holidays (next to “Turkey Eat-y Day” and “Tree-Presents Day”). Of course, by “sort of strange” we mean “wicked sweet.” Hugh Cornwell playing at Church tonight isn’t technically a Halloween show. But … based on our wonderfully loose definitions of when holidays start and end, it might as well be. Plus, dude totally used to front for a band called “The Stranglers.” That’s, like, spooky and shit.
