We’re glad that this Wisconsinite outfit decided to go the whole “excellent power-pop” route with their music, as opposed to the “middling weak-pop” route or the “average mower-pop” route or the “absurd-but-fitting-food-reference cheese-pop” route. And who knows what kind of a disaster the “make-lame-puns-about-a-genre-instead-of-talking-about-a-band’s-show-tonight route” would have been. Talk about “using-over-hyphenated-strings-of-words-as-your-main-joke.” That would have—oh. We see. You cut us deep, us. You cut us so deep.
