This former Sonic Youth guitarist is, admittedly, not a part of that “youth” category anymore. Hasn’t been for, like, a decade. Dude had a kid. Luckily, Mr. Aka “Mirror” remains totally “sonic” in the sense that he’s still an electric performer and is also literally made of sound. Sure, seeing him might not magically transport you back to your days of grungy, noise rockin’ bossitude in the ’80s and ’90s, but you better believe nobody else at the show will rock the vintage-tee/Baby Bjorn combo like you.
