A major criticism of electronic music is that live shows can amount to watching a sweaty dude hunch over a laptop—an insult we take personally, as that’s literally our job description.
However, for the skeptics out there, the folks at Boston Cyberarts (along with this 2012 Together Festival we’ve heard something about … somewhere) present avant-garde electronic musician Keith Fullerton Whitman, a man known equally well for experimental sampling as he is for highly improvisational performances. Surprised? What if we told you that by “man” we meant “man-droid?” Fine then, we won’t.
