We’re not going to say we dislike the funky, beat-driven indie-rock (much of which sounds directly lifted from Rugrats) of Reptar—far from it. Ditto for saying we dislike the BK Kid’s Club, or “cereal” composed entirely of tiny cookies. All we’re saying is that—as far as giant purple gorillas with eating disorders go—Thorg is underrated. Call us contrarians if you want. But would a contrarian go to tonight’s show at Great Scott in a poorly-dyed ape costume? ‘Cause … uh, that’s what we’re doing. Watch for that. THORG HUNGRY!
