In part due to it simply having been around the longest, and in part because almost every other form of popular music today straight-up stole from it in some capacity or another, and blues will be damned if blues is going to forget that shit. So, is it odd for us to recommend the relatively new music of Dave Keller tonight at Johnny D’s? What if we told you the man was discovered by legendary guitarist Ronnie Earl at a Stevie Wonder concert? Yeah. That’s how the blues rolls. Hard, fast, and nearly impossible to verify.
