SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL PREVIEW: … TAKE THE TUNES OUTSIDE

BY HILARY HUGHES  @HILMONSTAH + LAUREN METTER @HAVEYOUMETTER

Music festivals—good ones—may take place throughout the course of the year, but there’s something special about taking a vacation day or two, driving with the windows down, and arriving at a massive celebration of sound when the sun’s out and the temperature’s high. Here, we’ve compiled a list of the music fests we’re most looking forward to, from day raves to secret shows with our favorite bands in foreign cities to once-in-a-lifetime jams featuring artistic pairings you’d never expect.

Grab your sunscreen, an extra bottle of water, and some earplugs, because even if the sky’s the literal limit here, we have a feeling it’s about to get loud.
