LAURA AND MILES OUTSIDE GREAT SCOTT AFTER WINTERSLEEP’S SHOW, MONDAY 6.18.12
What band brought you out tonight?
Miles: A friend of mine told me about the first band, which was called Slow—not Slowdive, but slow something … Slowdim.
What did you think of them?
Miles: I thought they were quite good. I mean, it’s good to see ethereal music still alive and kickin’, well, alive and whatever you do. You don’t kick, you may sway. Alive and swaying.
Cool. You’ve been to Great Scott before, I imagine? Who else have you seen here?
Miles: Well, I’ll be honest. I tend to go to The Pill when I’m at Great Scott. I’m not a full-on scene addict. Oh, hey. I’m being interviewed for the Dig, so you should put on your swagger.
Laura: Hey! Are you doing the Exit Polls?
Hey! Yeah, I am. Are you familiar with the Dig?
Laura: I’m friends with Barry who created the Exit Polls.
Oh, that’s cool. It’s a Monday. Is there anything you have to be up for tomorrow?
Laura: Yeah.
I have to be up for work, but it was totally worth it.
