ROB OUTSIDE T.T. THE BEAR’S PLACE AFTER AN EXITMUSIC SHOW, MONDAY 6.25.12
So, how’d you like Exitmusic tonight?
Rob: I really enjoyed it. I’d never heard of them before. I’m coming down from the 49th parallel in the Great White North, and a friend of mine I met overseas said, “Come on down and check this band out.”
Wow, cool.
Rob: Not having heard them before, a couple people at the club were raving enthusiastic about them.
I think their vibe and their energy was really interesting.
I love that they’re playing at a really small venue like this because sometimes when you’re watching a band, you’re thinking if you’re watching the next thing or not, and I know that they’ve got a bit of notoriety, but it was a pretty unique experience to see them here.
Would you be down to see them again?
Rob: Absolutely, as long as they’re not playing in America.
First time in Boston?
Rob: Yeah! And I’ve been missing out on hearing and authentic Boston accent, and that’s why I came here. Turns out I can’t really find one anywhere.
I’m really disappointed.
